Dixon, William "Bill", age 72, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was of the Baptist faith and was a Brick Mason by trade. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence & Gladys Dixon; grandparents; sister, Charlotte Cooper; brothers, Royal and Roger Dixon; grandson, Brandon Davis; step-sons, Jerry and Jesse Laymon. Survivors include his wife, Martha Dixon; daughters, Beth Bradshaw of Clinton, Sherry Davis of GA, Paula Martin of Chattanooga; son, Billy Dixon of GA; step-son, Jay Laymon and wife Tina of CA; step-daughter, June Harlen of IN; grandchildren, Amanda Storey, Curtis Storey, Tamara Davis, Allie Martin, Ansley Dixon; brothers, Don and wife Billie, Bob and wife Joyce, Larry & wife Shirley, Boyd and fianc Pam White; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Friday, December 9, at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel with funeral service following, Rev. Don Dixon, officiating.
