William E. Hubbard Sr., age 74, passed away on November 25, 2023 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. He was born September 18, 1949 in Selma, AL. and raised in Knoxville, TN. He went to Karns High  School and graduated the class of 66-67. He joined the Coast Guard at 17, and was an aircraft structure mechanic and search and rescue. He was married in 1969 to Fannie Williams, and they were married for 54 years. They had two sons, Billy and Richard Hubbard. He enjoyed and collected antique cars, motorcycles, and planes. He was a retired AACA member, former member of the Hornet's Nest, and a current member of Golden Iron.

William was preceded in death by his parents; Howard M. Hubbard Sr. and Anniebelle Hubbard, and brother; Thomas Hubbard.

William is survived by his wife; Fannie Hubbard, sons; Billy and Richard Hubbard, and brothers; Douglas and Butch Hubbard.

Family will receive friends on December, 1, 2023 at Woodhaven Funeral Home located at 160 Edgemoor Rd. in Powell, TN. from 12 to 2PM with a private interment at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery to follow. Woodhaven Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of William E. Hubbard Sr.
