Russell, William Elery, age 83 of Powell, TN, passed away at his home Tuesday, July 29, 2014. William retired after 44 years with Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a U.S. Army Reservist. He is preceded in death by his Father William and Mother Mary Russell. William is survived by his Wife Wanda Russell; Sons Terry Russell and wife Linda of Powell, Joe Russell and wife Sharon of Knoxville, and Tim Russell of Powell; Grandchildren Terry Dean Russell (Genny), Whitney Jones (Brandon); Great-Grandchildren Lainey Renee Russell; Sisters Winifred spouse L.T. Hansard, Charolette spouse David Hill. Graveside Service will be held Thurday, July 31, 2014 at 2:00pm at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. Service will be officiated by Rev. Mark Sasser.
