On November 6, 2018, William L. Scruggs, age 90, of Dandridge, TN., went to be with the Lord.  He was born on November 17, 1927 and was a WWII Veteran.  He was a member of Shady Grove Methodist Church in Dandridge, TN., and an active member of Steven Ministries.  He was a Mason, he loved woodworking and fishing and loved being with his friends at the coffee club.

He is survived by his wife Betty Tinker Scruggs, sons Greg Scruggs of Clinton, TN., and Douglas (Patricia) Scruggs of Oak Ridge, TN., daughter Linda Van Kleeck of Atlanta, GA., step-daughter Frankie (Dwight) Wilson, step-son Billy Tinker, grandchildren Steven Scruggs, Jennifer Scruggs Daniels, and Heather Van Kleeck, step-grandson Steve Whaley and Neal Wilson, great-grandchildren Makenna Daniels, Landon Daniels, and Julia Kay Young, and step-great granddaughter Aislyn Whaley.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Woodhaven Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, Tn. 37849.
