Hooks, William Lindsey, born February 7, 1937, passed away Monday, November 14, 2011, at his home at the age of 74. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Myrtle Hooks; brothers, Clyde, Dean and Frank; sisters, Carrie, Jeanette and Maggie. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Barbara Hooks; children, Rex Hooks and wife Beth, Angie McMahan and husband Lynn; grandchildren, Jennifer Hicks and husband Josh, Tagan Hooks and Caleb McMahan; brother, George Hooks and wife Beulah; sister, Frances Humphrey and husband Bill; sister-in-law, Margaret Hooks. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 17, from 6-8pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel.
