Wilma Jean Fisher, age 70, of Powell, was born December 26, 1947 and passed away January 11, 2018. Wilma was a seamstress for Summit Apparel for several years. She was a loving caregiver for her mother and sisters for many years. She is preceded in death by her mother, Eula Gray Cupp; her father, Doyle Cupp; and brother, Roger Lynn Cupp.
Survivors include her husband, William Oscar Fisher; her son, Tony Ray Fisher; her sisters Sybil (Doug) Covington, Rowena Neely, Darlene (Arlen) King, Geraldean Cupp, and Linda Cupp; nephews Scott Buchanan and David King; and a host of additional nephews and nieces.
The family wishes to thank special family and friends, Vallalee Smith, Dan & Karen Murdoch, and the Amedisys Hospice Service nurses for their unwavering and dedicated support.
Receiving of friends will be on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm with the Funeral Service and Interment to follow. All events with be at Woodhaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849. Officiating the service will be Tim Russell and Tommy Russell. Pallbearers: Scott Buchanan, Billy Carter, Danny Collins, Ronnie DeBruhl, Cameron Fisher, and Dale Fisher.
